blowing candles of their most known albums, bullet for my valentine & trivium gather forces to bring metal fans an iconic gift by touring together through all Europe and uk . on their Belgian stop we were of course there to witness this amazing moment stuck in our teen minds.

Sunday night, while everyone Is thinking about the end of the weekend , former emos rejoiced. tonight is the poisoned ascendency . around lotto arena fans from all around Belgium and also other countries, gathered in lines to be able to enter the famous venue . braving the cold weather and long waiting lines to reach the first rows. warming up already, hearing them from the merch booth, from afar, orbit culture began to stroke their chords . bringing Swedish mayhem to the equation. there's no surprise, they own the stage, they are so conscious of their fandom.
they know how to bring masses to climax. singer's voice is powerful so as all the Scandinavian bands . they are different. their set is made to make the crowd move, to mosh, to crowdsurf. absolutely amazing choice for an opening act even though they deserved an headliner show. up to next time for sure .

after what seemed like an endless wait, bullet for my valentine, 2000 emo heroes are up . one by one entering after an introduction of their long career. bringing tears almost to our , oh my, not so young anymore eyes. starting amazingly with intro , world wide famous introduction to poison written alongside apocalyptic. a masterpiece. starting slow but heavy, as usual lotto arena is huge, but the sound for heavy shows is not the max . though, enjoyable, after all we all knew each of the lyrics to every song of the poison. matt is powerful but seemed a bit tired . static at most. sometimes tired voice. nonetheless, the power in their set remains the same , seems like it even grew stronger and stronger. after tears don't fall, the anthem, hell broke free. a tad too soon in our opinion but still. and that's what we all have been waiting for . new additions to the band don't lack anything . all together they fit. the poison Is still a monument in metal music, and needless to say, matt and co are still magnetic . maybe even more now than before. each of the songs brilliantly executed, leaving us with a bittersweet memory at the end of the show . after all these years it is amazing to listen once more to those evergreens. and time after time they don't lose any of their power. on the contrary, with growth it even takes an other meaning . our tears do well fall after all .

brand new set up, other atmosphere. same year. metal top band in trivium are ready to set us on fire. with super entertaining singer Matt heafy, we're now ready to enjoy their show. crowd is already hot as hell, and ready to clear their voices and singalong. the band is stunning, powerful, sound resonates to our hearts, with each of there anthems, starting with hit the lights and ending with the banger in waves, which is the one that absolutely everyone knows by heart. crowdsurfing all the time, fully encouraged by matt. enormous circle pits quite as big as the venue . blowing cool air all around us. so much needed. full of surprises from the set up changing every now and then, to singer outfits, and amazing guitar skills. his contagious good mood and deep messages are heard religiously. not much speech left in the equation, place indeed much taken by tracks. celebrating the ascendency album was definitely a good idea.
bringing back also the iconic mummy inflating live on stage and present all along. definitely one of the most impressive shows from the start of the year. can't wait to Catch them on tour alone soon . maybe for a shogun revival ? not a single strife on sight .
