saturday 15 th 2025, Ancient Belgique, a date absolutely to remember. the evening that gathered masters of power, heavy and hard rock masters in one only podium. bringing fire spat from the mouth of mighty dragons with them, shiny wings of strength, wonderful stages effects and talent in its purest form. what we witnessed that night was, skin chilling vibratos, and high pitched notes that pierced into the soul. for a moment lost in space. a moment to witness at least once in a lifetime.

about that time to cross the threshold of the epic venue which is the AB. soon noticed that a hundred of people were already on line patiently waiting to enter the cave of the dragons riders. not even 6 o'clock yet and already fans are braving the cold for them. avantasia. and same fate for us, after a line that seemed really infinite, it is our turn to reach the entrance. just in time to take a look at the merch booth that will be the reward of the evening. the venue is bursting with people, still the show is not sold out. a shame, and a surprise but anyway. arriving just in time, able to reach, not as usual the first rows, but nonetheless close enough to feel the heat of fire, here we go, here be dragons.

an ouverture, in full style, first stage covered in red velvet curtains, an old fashioned touch of class. creepshow, out of their all new masterpiece is on. introducing master Tobias Sammet in all his charisma and talent. stage costumes are a catch the eye. lovely, stunning. so as his wonderful violet shoes, shining as much as his eyes while reaching high notes of reach out for the light. introducing this time, first guest of the night, vocalist Adrienne Cowan, from seven spires. this night begins with a power that we rarely see. Tobias, introducing each and every time his guest, stunned, mouthing an "amazing" every time the other singers share the stage with him. humble, even when speaking about the new album -, out from the 28th of February, which we must unfortunately witness, is not known by the audience. nonetheless, he succeeded to shake a bit the audience, amorph at first, but slightly thawing , but not too much. indeed, the participation was low, despise the high quality show that the band prepared for us, more than 2 hours 30 minutes full and absolutely entertaining. never losing energy and enthousiasm.

but, coming back to the guest sharing the stage, from the deep and colourful, and balanced voice of Eric Martin (mr big). still a master of his genre. mastering brilliantly "what's left of me" and "dying for an angel". greeting also, singer from Kamelot, Tommy karevik and his stunning presence and full voice. a powerful duo during the witch. the mix of the voices is unique, transporting us into another universe.
more and more guests, it' s Herbie langhans's turn and his voice is like the others, a marvel. a proof that sometimes voices like theirs is even more powerful that the music itself. mesmerised by the technique and the savoir faire. it is refreshing to attend a show with so much talent reunited in a so small room.

singer from H.E.A.T. is a revelation, the heavy metal specific voice. stunning effortlessly, dominating the stage every time he's on it. the featuring with Tobias and Tommy, was probably one of the highest moments of the show. meaning as a featuring obviously.
chiara tricarico with her smooth, still powerful voice is the guest for farewell. that sounded like a goodbye, but at the wrong time, when we need more. a delight.

it went over and over, brilliantly, a high quality show but!
shall we please talk about the moment that had me dying inside, the piano reaching the stage. meaning one and only thing. it's "Lucifer" time. and man, what a moment. a candlelight moment, to savour, alone in a world far away. the Morningstar watching and acknowledging his faults. his performance, full acoustic at first, with that angelic, and mastered voice. going on and on until reaching that note. the highest one. an absolute pleasure.

after 23 songs, it is the time to say goodbye and say farewell indeed. thanking all the audience, humbly as always. stars in our eyes we have to admit that this is not a show that we can forget soon. on the contrary, reaching another city to witness that again is a plausible option. do no miss that. catch them on the road. do it. for your ears and your souls. there's no escape. becauase that's you shelter from the rain .
